Arcalaska Store SL. built Montpackers App as a Free app. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used solely for providing and improving the Service. We will not sell, use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Personal Information Processed
We use the collected data for the sole purpose of enhancing our apps. Personal Information that can be collected are the following:
- Location: if user wishes to use the Service which include location features, such as filtering the nearest POI’s, trails and weather closer to you, the Service may imply the processing of the location of the user, which will be used solely for the purposes established hereunder and to allow or improve the Service.
- Information about your Device app usage collected by tracking technologies (screens visited, average time spent on app, etc.) as further described below on “Disclosure of Your Information”
- Notifications: if user wishes to receive push notifications, such as updates about weather, POI’s, Avalanches information, Directory, Trails. Will be used solely for the purposes established hereunder and to allow or notify the Service.
- Device Information such as operating system version, device type, and system performance information.
2. User Contributions
Additionally, users may share new POI’s, Trails, Directory if they wish through Customer Support ([email protected]). The information shared might include: geographical information, date, trail duration, difficulty level, tips, pictures taken and description of the trail, company information.
Any User Contribution you post in the App or send to [email protected] will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.
3. Children’s Privacy
Montpackers App does not collect the age or the date of birth of its users. Our App is directed to individuals who are the age of majority or older in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If the user is under age he/she should not register on Montpackers App.
4. Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. Except as described under the “Disclosure of Your Information” section below, we do not provide, share or sell your personal information to any third party without your specific consent.

The Personal Information that we collect is used solely for providing and improving the Service. We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties as follows:
- Montpackers App service providers (like Heroku hosting and Apple Maps Platform) that require this information to provide services to us.
- Mobile Analytics providers like Firebase or Google Analytics that we use to gather statistical information about the App usage or any crash that may happen.
- If our Service is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners.
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with any legal obligation such as to comply with a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, similar legal process, or in order to enforce or apply our agreements with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Arcalaska Store SL., our customers, or others.

App users are guaranteed on the exercise of the rights of access, rectification and deletion of their Personal Information, as established by applicable regulations. Users can access or update their Personal Information at any time from their Profile screen on the App. To change email address or to request deletion of your Personal information, please contact us at [email protected]
When deleting a user account, Arcalaska Store SL. reserves the right to copy any User Contribution and assign them to a ghost user.
