L’Institut d'Estudis Andorrans is located in Sant Julià de Lòria.

The research is organized around two centers: CRES, specialized in sociological studies, and CENMA, in charge of carrying out studies on snow and mountains.

The basic purposes of this entity are: promotion, coordination, subsidization and / or research in all areas that may be of interest to the country, in accordance with a multi-year plan.
