Facilities: 50 beds (4 rooms for 8 people and 1 room for 10 people). It has a dining room with catering service, toilets, timer showers and biomass heating. There are 12 free spaces in the old unguarded shelter without services and open all year.

Open from June 1 to November 15 every day and from November 16 to May 31 on weekends (from Thursday to Sunday (depending on snow conditions).

Location: At the head of the Madriu river under the dam of the VMPC Island lake (Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley).

Access: It can be reached by GR7 from Escaldes-Engordany following the entire Madriu Valley (arrival time 4h), coming from the Malniu Refuge, following the GR11 passing through Valle Civera (Cerdanya), coming from llacs de la Pera Refuge (Alt Urgell) following the GR11.10. It is integrated into Andorra GRPais and the "Coronallacs" route.
